Our COVID-19 Response
When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, the world was not prepared to cope with the difficulties it brought. And it was much worse for those already living in poverty. This is why we decided to launch our Coronavirus Emergency Appeal.
MWT planned the Emergency Coronavirus Appeal and managed to raise enough funds to feed over 250 families, for an entire month. MWT provided them with food parcels which contained staples (rice, flour, cooking oil, pulses, and spices) as well as emergency PPE supplies (gloves, sanitiser and masks).
Mangla Clean Water Filtration Plant
Part of the MWT journey to provide clean filtered and free water
Additional to the hospital project, MWT is in the process of constructing a water ration plant, in order to provide clean and safe drinking water to the local communities.
Mangla Hospital
Mangla Hospital is the main project of MWT. It will be the size of approx 2 football pitches, with several departments. At present, the land has been obtained, and the boundary wall has been put up. The next step will be to lay the foundations.
